Is it possible to become a bodybuilder while on a VEGETARIAN diet?

I’m a lacto-vegetarian, so i’ll be able to consume milk and whey/casein shakes aswell as combine various nuts/lentils together to make more complete sources of protein. Are their any other trainers who have done well on a vegetarian diet?
