what diet will give you the best ripped look right before a bodybuilding competition?
I have a photo shoot coming up and was wondering a safe diet a few days prior that will make me chizzled similar to GSP, however keep my muscle, and i will be able to put the weight back afterwards safely.
hmm I don’t know about a diet for body building, but I know that tanning tends to help accentuate areas. I’m not saying you need to go fake bake in a bed…. you can get a spray on tan (to be safer).
As far as diets the only thing I can think of is cutting carbs and upping protein. If you cut carbs your body will be forced to take the glycogen from your fat cells to use it for energy. This generally drops weight fast and safely (as long as you still eat natural carbs i.e. fruits and veggies). If you go off any diet you’ll gain the weight back hun!
Have a lot of lean protein.
Drink lots and lots of water up until about 3 hours before the shoot. They just remain thirsty. It might sound stupid but it helps a little bit and you want all the help you can get.
No complex carbs 24hrs before, it will make you look bloated.
I’m sure you know this if you are really into BBing but do 3 – 4 sets of high rep exercises per each body part before the shoot to go in with an awesome pump. Just don’t kill yourself.
Some Nitric Oxide might also help with a pump.
Tan! Tan! Tan!
And always remember to get a black background for the shoot. and stick to poses that hide your weaker points.
