What should I do if I don’t sleep well after my bodybuilding workout?

For example: When I sleep only 5-6 hours the night after the workout day, the next night I get enough sleep (I don’t workout that day, i usually workout every other day). Am I doing it right? In other words, does this have positive effect on gaining muscle-mass or it is insignificant since I slept bad the night before (the night after the workout)? Please help.

P.S. I hope you understand the question.

  1. how far apart are you working out from your sleeping cycles?
cause if you work out right before you go to bed your mind will want to fall asleep but your body will not be able to, because of the adrenaline and endorphins your body released during your work out! if you can try working out at least 2-4 hours before sleep.

  2. It is normal. People which work their muscles need less sleep. Fat People sleep and laze around. If you are properly working the muscle you are going to sleep less. If you are tired because of the lack of sleep then you may want to tone down the workout so you can sleep of do it earlier in the day. the reason the lack of sleep is an increase in Testosterone which heightens your metabolism. Don’t worry be happy. You are doing fine.
