Well done!!! BRAVO!
Bloody hell… I can pull that for 1 rep, and he looked bored for the first 3 or 4 reps… XD
Fair do’s though, I fancy a 200 kg lift before summer!!
Hey Jon Was Just Wondering At What Weight Would You Start To Wear A Belt On While Doing Deadlifts?

John

Awesome, deads. Are your bench and squats equally impressive? You could jack the dieting in and powerlift!
Great website too, Jon. In Leicestershire, I see. Doing us proud, mate.
That was some beautiful lifting.

very good lifting Jon, High rep deadlifts are the way forward. It’s always the tough guys that do this kind of lifting. Very impressed! I do 350lbs for these kind of reps at 170lb bodyweight. Looking forward to doing 400!
boss my tops is 210kg but i get 1 rep im gone down in weight to 180kg im getting 4 reps but if i build up to 12reps then try 210kg will i be able to rep it thanks if u can help?
You’re amazing Jon.I’ve watched this video so many times. So inspirational ! I got 2 reps on 140kg today. I would love to be able to just get 1 rep on 180kg. That’s damn impressive. Keep up the good work!
Not really. I did a lighter higher rep set with 140kg to help build stamina though.
Could get about half that number of reps without straps. My grip is not great.
grt lifting john, ever tried lifting without straps….? and if yes, whats ur best efffort…
Is there any particular method you used to build up to these kind of poundages?
I was about 185lbs in that vid.
Shit…so this is what it takes to be a natural pro?
How heavy was Jon here?
