Do you agree bodybuilding supplements are a joke?

I mean by the price, big names cost about $15 to make and they charge about $50 a tub of whey protein? Do you agree?

  1. It’s kind of ridiculous. It’s why I don’t use any. It would cost me way too much. I rather eat whole food.

speaking as a person who takes protein powder, its not a joke, and it can have good results. drinking it 4 times a day, and sticking to a high protein/high calories diet, while working out, your strength will skyrocket.

  4. i don’t agree, but yes some are ridiculous

They are expensive, but not all of them are jokes / do nothing for you. I have tried pre-workout products and they do give you a better pump and also make you more focused so you can lift more.

At the moment I only take protein supplement/vitamin however.

  6. You can buy them online for a lot less!

Fish oil supplements are a necessity at this point for athletes and the general public.

Whey protein is the best source for post-workout protein.

Protein blends are perfect for meal replacements and convenient calories.

Some brands are better than others. Biotest is probably the best but Optimum Nutrition is really good too.

Supplements are worth the money if you need them.
