How can I become a bodybuilder?
I am a gymnast, and I have been in competitive training for four years, so I have a lot of muscle. I’d like to become a bodybuilder, but I’m not sure what to do to continue to increase my muscle. Also, I would like to burn fat, so the muscle shows more. Any help?
Try to doing some interval train cardio training. Also in order to increase your muscle mass and strip fat you need to introduce weights into your regime. Ligtht weights are best as the more reps you do the more definiton you will get. Ultimately work one area of the body each time you are at the gym and try to rest at least a day or two in between sessions to get the most out of your training. You could try and introduce high amounts of protein into your diet as the body muscles require protein to grow and sustain and shorten recovery periods between workouts. Importantly having a balanced diet is a must. Finally if you are serious about this, bodybuilding is an art which requires dedication don’t excpect results over night as you may know already through being a gymnast. Sagi Kalev, Tom Venuto, Brandon Curry, Jay Cutler, are all decent body builders amongst others check out their sites.
Research is all I can say.
Just look for what supplements you need to take, the amount of training is required (since you’re a beginner) and the dietary needs.
My brother is a bodybuilder, and to burn fat before competitions to become more ripped, he would only eat chicken breast and vegetables for weeks on end (as well as taking his supplements)
