help with becomming a female bodybuilder?

ive always wanted to become a body builder, but im not sure where to start exactly. is there anyone that could give me any pointers, im kind of lost as to what it is i should be doing. also, i am going to start working out six days a week, with three days intensive weights, and three days cardio/weights. i know that i must first loose some body weight, but i wanted to know what the most effective way, and how long it took to get some results. could anyone give me any good advice?

  2. I was very into lifting in high school. So I have a little experience with this, and am looking to get into lifting again now so I can tell you what I have started doing now.

    First thing is to check with your doctor and make sure you are healthy enough to start a lifting program.

    Then find a mentor, a lifter, a trainer someone who knows what they are doing, how to do it, and can provide pointers and support.

    Thats where I am at right now. Hope it helps a little.
