This protien works well to curb my appitite for hours on end, but it has a horrible taste and texture. The closest thing I can relate it to is chocolate-burned egg tasting boogers. I would not purchase this product again. I would, however, purchase from the vender again because it is not their fault that this protien tastes so bad.

This casein protein is great. I put it in oatmeal and drink it before sleeping. It provides long sustained protein release so your muscles get the nutrients it needs. It has basically no fat and no carbs and a strong amount of protein in each scoop. And of course it tastes great. I mix it with cold water and I love it.

This is the first time I’ve tried Casein and I was forewarned that the taste is usually horrendous. Maybe I have a weird sense of taste, but it’s really pretty tasty. I make a shake right before bed as this stuff breaks down slower than Whey powder. It’s really delicious with milk, which also adds additional protein. It’s okay with water, but the best with milk.

Optimum Nutrition provides a good quality protein at a more economical price than most brands, but yet doesn’t skimp on the quality. The Casein chocolate supreme flavor is one of the best tasting chocolate protein powders on the market. It is thick and flavorful and I would drink it as a shake even if it wasn’t a protein drink. If I had to make any improvements it would be on how easily the powder mixes. Although better than most powders on the market I would recommend a shaker if not a blender. Mixing by spoon in a glass does fairly well but you can sometimes end up with clumps. Mixes great with milk, water, yogurt, and all other things I’ve tried. Goes great with many shake recipes including one of my favorites, 8 oz milk, 3 drops of mint extract, and tastes like the girl scout mint/grashopper chocolate cookies.

If you have looked into protein supplements then you are familiar with this type. Taste good for the most part, a little hard to mix with a spoon or fork but that is to be expected.
I have not tried any of the other Casein products.
